Photo Competition for Yale Students
The Council on Latin American & Iberian Studies (CLAIS) and the European Studies Council (ESC) invites Yale Students who have conducted academic travel, research, or internship experiences in Latin America, the Caribbean, or Europe to submit photographs taken during their experiences for the first CLAIS/ESC Joint Photo Competition. The photos can have been taken anytime abroad in 2019, or during spring break 2020. All photos need to be submitted by Friday, March 27, 2020.
The contest is open to all Yale University students. For the Graduate and Professional Students division, priority will be given to all students who are a part of the CLAIS Graduate & Professional Student Network, part of the ESC Graduate Fellows network, or who have received funding from CLAIS or ESC. For students competing in the undergraduate division, submissions will be judged equally, whether those students recieved funding from CLAIS or not for their research trips, study abroad experiences, or other academic experiences in Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain or Portugal.
