Blanca Begert

Blanca Begert is a Master of Environmental Science candidate at the Yale School of the Environment. Her academic interests include applied forest ecology and the social dimensions of natural resource management. Her MESc research examines local forest use in and around the Alto Mayo Protected Forest in Peruvian Amazonia, with a focus on how local practices and priorities are represented in forest management.
