Degree Program:
Political Science and History

As a recent immigrant who survived an oppressive government, I seek to conduct research on the relationship between authoritarian and totalitarian regimes and the psychological repercussions that influence voter behavior, attitude towards political issues, or polarization in individuals that migrate to countries with democratic regime. By focusing on Mexico and Cuba, I look forward to expand my understanding about the consequences that emerge from the abuse of political power. Therefore, I look forward to collaborate with the Council of Latin American and Iberian Studies, where I am confident to become a valuable asset.

Areas of research and geographical interest:

Historical revisionism, political PTSD, political correctness. Interested in Mexico and the Caribbean.
