The Albert Bildner Travel Prize
Open to Junior undergraduate students only, the Bildner Prize supports travel to Latin America for summer research related to the senior essay. Critical Innovation Fund
La Casa, the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale (Tsai CITY), and the Center for Latin American and Iberian Studies sponsor the Critical Innovation Fund. The Critical Innovation Fund consists of five $1,500 awards, which will be given out to teams with the strongest proposals for innovative ways to address pressing immigration challenges in America. Teams can apply with any idea — an event, a movement, an educational campaign, a technological innovation, a storytelling project, a work of art — that addresses current immigration challenges in America. Interdisciplinary teams from across Yale and New Haven are welcome. All are encouraged to apply, but teams must consist of at least one current Yale student. The Tinker Field Research Grants
The Tinker Field Research Grants are awarded for use for travel and field-related expenses for brief periods of pre-dissertation field research in Latin America. Grants are awarded to graduate students with litle or no previous experience in Latin America and are not to be used for dissertation research. Applications for projects that focus on economic policy, governance, environmental policy, and public policy are strongly encouraged. Click here for more information.
