Join us for a curatorial talk by Rocio Aranda-Alvarado on some of her projects, navigating the artist-curator relationship, and her current role as Senior Program Officer, Creativity and Free Expression, at the Ford Foundation. Prior to this, Aranda-Alvarado served as curator at El Museo del Barrio and the Jersey City Museum. She earned her Ph.D. in art history from the Graduate Center, City University of New York. The talk will be followed by a moderated Q&A by Maria De Los Angeles MFA’15, Assistant Director of Graduate Studies and Critic for the Painting and Printmaking Program.
