Faculty Grants

The Edward J. and Dorothy Clarke Kempf Memorial Fund Competition
Annual Deadline for Proposals: Mid-March

By arrangement with the Provost, income from the Kempf Fund allows the MacMillan Center to support faculty initiative in organizing on-campus conferences, workshops, and lecture(s) on international topics in their fields of interest.  In my recent conversations with the Provost, the amount of funds available for next year will be flat from last year.  We will give preference to focused workshops on topics directly related to the current research interests of the convening faculty member.

The MacMillan Center normally holds one competition in the winter to award Kempf funds for activities held during the following academic year.
