Yale invites all undergraduate and master’s students in the biomedical sciences to apply to Iniciativa-Proxima, a program that connects talented students with leaders in their field. This is a10-month (March-December) virtual mentoring program, supported by Yale University, that will culminate with the in-person Seminars in Biomedical Sciences in Brazil. Through interactive discussions, this program will introduce students to critical practices, skills and strategies necessary to become leaders in their research field. The 3-day in person Seminars will create meaningful connections between these young talents and leading scientists from around the world and will allow them to consolidate the networking skills learned along the virtual program.
