Camila Marcone is a historian of environmental history in late medieval Iberia and colonial Latin America. Her research focuses on the the translation, adaptation, and transformation of medieval practices and ideas relating to the environment from Iberia to early colonial Latin America. She is currently exploring these topics through a comparative analysis of medieval and early modern hunting manuals.

Camila holds a Masters in Medieval Studies from Fordham University, an MA in History from the Universidad de Salamanca and a BA in Ecology, Evolution, and Environmental Biology from Columbia University.
